[RESOLVED] - Dynatorch internet connection

I attempted to login Sunday afternoon and had to restart the computer. The computer was pretty warm to the touch. Was able to get to the login screen but the system was not connecting to the internet. The issue may have resolved in time but it was unable to connect for 10 minutes then I gave up.

@Team_Infrastructure would be more likely to be able to explain connectivity issies

I had a look at the computer this evening. It was acting normally, the internet connection was working normally.

I’ve seen this before. Even when this PC is running normally, It’s pretty hot. It seems to lock up every few weeks. We should probably log CPU Temps for a while and see what correlates.

Given that the connection to the cutter is optical ether, there no reason that computer can’t be in the server room, or maybe even virtual.

The remote management software was using a lot of resources. Both RAM and disk access. Maybe it is trying to auto-update itself.

It was noticably slow last week and AteraAgent was using 90% of ram

I don’t see Atera agent running on this PC. Maybe ad admin uninstalled it.
