Research enclosure for Dynatorch PC

Why not a fanless NUC or other similar tinly PC?

After all the components and wiring for doing such a thing, we could probably have built a proper environmental enclosure or sealed fanless system.

Furthermore I’d rather not add the latency to the keyboard inputs; there are two ways of stopping the machine: the big red button e-stop, and the spacebar which acts as a pause button. I’d rather people still be able to reasonably pause the machine when the cut isn’t quite right, and adjust to resume, before resorting to an e-stop every time.

I wonder if this $300 industrial PC would be good enough?

If we had a Dead PC, we would likely replace the PC with a Fanless/NCU…Etc…

That PC would likely work without issues however.
