Request - lessons on small cnc in CA room

Hello,

I wanted to see if anyone was available sometimes between now and Wednesday night to show me how to use the small cnc in the creative arts room. I would like to cut a design into a small sheet of brass and as meta can be tricky on these machines I would like help learning how to accomplish this.

I think that’s the shapeoko, and I think @jphelps is the most qualified to discuss it, its status, etc.

Look for Shapeoko classes on July 6 and July 9.

Edit: I do not know whether you have already taken the class and desire additional tutoring, but the training is required before using the Shapeoko.

Please note that no materials that require cutting oils may be used on the Shapeoko. If you are unsure, I would prefer you consult our resident SME’s @jphelps or @jkraemer before cutting. Thanks!
