I am a new member.
I am posting this topic in order to acquire a FOB with which I can access the building per the instructions.
I am available to come to the Dallas Makerspace and pick up the FOB at anytime.

I can’t help with the fob as I’m not making it up to the 'space much, but I just wanted to stop by and say welcome to DMS and you have a spiffy photograph for your avatar.

What type of arts or crafts are you into?
During the non-COVID times, I’m commonly found in the Machine Shop where I teach the Knee Mills (Bridgeport, Pasma), the Lathes (Sherline, Colchester, Shark), and the HAAS or the Metal Shop where I teach welding (TIG, Stick, MIG) and on the rare occasion the CNC Plasma. If I’m not teaching or practicing so I can teach in the Machine Shop or the Metal Shop, I’m typically in Elab or turning pens in the woodshop.
I do try to branch out of my comfort zones quite frequently, so if you’ve got something to teach me I’m happy to trade time showing you what I know how to do. That’s how I learned pen turning! Thanks again @Lordrook and @jnorine

Since no-one has stepped up yet, I can almost guarantee that on a Saturday day if you walk up to the door you’ll have a very good chance of being let in and helped. If the front door doesn’t work try around back at the automotive bay, and ask someone to help you there. No sense in you missing a weekend up at DMS 
So – any time today? We’re still having some issues with the database, so you should probably send an email to [email protected] first. That’ll get your password set up for the rest of the system. Then you can come in. Or, you can come in, sign a waiver, and we can give you a fob to link up later.
What times are available? You are 24/7 right? Can I come at anytime?
I actually have an account because I was a former member pre-covid but now I’m back again. Do I still need to set up an account or can it be re-activated?
You’ll need to re-activate your old account not create a new one. Send an email to that accounts email Beth linked.
Once you’re ready to activate your badge you should be able to find people up there at DMS pretty much any time, you just might have to knock louder at 3AM then you would at noon 
As a previous person, you should be able to sign into MakerManager/badges and activate a fob. You didn’t have to reset your password to sign into the accounting/paying part, right?
Nevermind. I can see that your account is active. I assume that the same account you had previously?
Yes I did not have to do anything to my account. I just need the FOB.
Also, what is the process for getting a fob if I add a family member to my membership?
Sorry – the internet in the other room went down. You add the family member in the MakerManager section also. It’s a lot easier on your family member if you sign into MM, and then let them pick their own username, etc.
And yeah, DMS is “open” 24/7. Whether anybody is in the front is a different matter. I’ll be here until midnight-ish today, which means that I’ll be back around 1 or 2 tomorrow afternoon.
