Reloading Setup and Operation

I will be having a hands on class on reloading metallic cartridges on Wednesday April 8 at 7:00 PM in the shop area. There is no charge and non members are welcome. It may be difficult to get time on the presses, depending on the class size, but I think you will get a lot of useful information even if you don’t pull the handle. I will show how to setup the dies for use with different calibers and how to operate the press. I will have components for reloading .223 rifle and 9mm pistol cartridges.

If you are not a member come to the front door and press the buzzer and you can get into the space.

@Gimli, there was a tumbler going at one point that sounded like it had brass in it. Was that yours? I still have a bag of brass that needs to be cleaned, I just haven’t been around to do it.

I built a tumbler that will hold 2 drums for polishing brass. I only have the pins for one drum, I’m looking at getting more pins. I’m planning on making a drum that will hold 2 plastic 40 oz peanut butter jars for my CNC Router project and there is a rubber drum on the Arts shelf. Let me know ahead of time and I can bring the stuff to clean your brass.

By the way, I went through the stuff for the Hornady press and it is missing a part of the primer seating. I guess we will have to seat primers manually until they can be replaced.
