Raspberry Pi Prototyping kits

I was just looking through what’s left of the electronics lab (Great job on the cleanup btw!) because I’m looking for some stuff to learn raspberry pi GPIO stuff.

Other than the single breadboard I found, does the electronics lab have any of those kits that come with a cobbler, breadboard, jumpers, and various components used to learn the basics of RPi / Arduino usage?

Would be an interesting purchase for the lab if not

There is a black bin on the shelves between bench #1 and #2. It has some breadboard, TI 430, Arduinos.

We also have some arduino clones in the electronics locker in the break room. PM me for the code.

I have qty 5, still in original packaging, of these:

I was going to use them for a class, but it doesn’t work out well after trying to wire up the other 5 I bought, so I’m going to do my own board like I’d originally planned.

They cost me $10, so you give me a Hamilton and one will appear in your box.

Clarification: The SOIC break-out area has a strange pin-out, the display I wanted to mount won’t fit, and the mbed ST-NUCLEO board has really tall reset and user pushbuttons which are activated when this shield is pushed down on that board. These are not fatal flaws for someone using an authentic Ardiuno.

Zach, are you at the space this weekend? I wouldn’t mind taking one of those shields off your hands

If you have a storage box, I can PM you my paypal details and I will deposit it in your box when I’m there.
