you know, it constantly bothers me that people will use these stools which were donated to us
but then they just leave the in the middle of the isle where it has the potential to cause someone to trip when they have their hands full and aren’t fully watching where they are going. What’s more amazing is how many people will pass by it even skirt around it as if were a landmine rather than just moving it over or putting it back under the table.
so that’s it. as safety weenie I’ll solve the problem by getting rid of them. I had previously donated one to fire arts and I’ll see if they need more else I’ll open it up to other committees. People are selfish and can’t be proactive enough to simply move it or put it back. Some will find this extreme, but SAFETY first, conveinence 2nd.
This is why we can’t have nice things.
Rant Off.

Totally agree with you. But…
“…and aren’t fully watching where they are going.”
…well, those people need to up their personal safety game as well. Everyone should fully watch where they are going.

but it is everybody’s job to keep them safe despite themselves. It’s a village.
Every village has its idiots!
Seriously, though, I think putting the stools away is a good start. If they’re there somewhere, if someone really wants a stool they’ll go hunt one down. And maybe that hunt will trigger the “put stuff back” response more than if they just pull it out from under a work table.
