Is all pine banned from the planer or only SYP? Specifically I’m asking about white pine and/or fir (since they might get mislabeled depending on where you buy them).

But I’ll remind anyone reading that, while not currently forbidden, any “weathered” wood – i.e. wood that may have a bunch of dirt, dust, fine rock or sand, or any other abrasive material “weathered” into it – is incredibly bad for most cutting tools. (hence the more targeted restriction against bark.)
