Do we have a small pulley (gear) puller?
The spindle on my little CNC machine has died. I have a replacement in hand but I would like to make an attempt at rebuilding the old one. I need to get the pulley off the spindle shaft. The shaft is 8 mm.

The pullers were too large. I tried the smallest one I could find on the top edge of the pulley. Which resulted in the press-fit top edge of the pulley (essentially a washer) being removed. Ugh.
When I returned home I tried a 12 mm wrench on one end and pliers on the other. With some elbow grease and patience that did the trick.
The shaft had rotated on the inner ring of both bearings. The spindle was definitely damaged.
