That projection mapping is simple enough with a photo and AE. You can use a grid pattern to project onto the surface you want to map and take a photo of it. Import the photo as the composition in AE and add your effects/videos then encode and export to media player connected to projector. As long as you didn’t move the projector it should line up.
Quick and dirty version. This is using a DLP short throw projector and only projecting on the top half of the door. From what I have found a laser projector produces zero bleed creating a much better look.
This took about an hour to do just the video that is being controlled by an OSC app on my phone.
