Producing VIDEOS for Woodshop Tool Use Review and Reference

Hello, I am a returning member. I sincerely want to be a part of the positive. One skill I can offer is in how-to video production. I’m sure videos have been done before, but I am offering to redo/update and make current. If this sounds interesting, I would suggest we start with a single tool and then make short chapters. 1. Tool Overview and Safety (similar to Basics class) 2. More detail by action (for instance, step by step reminder video on how to change the blade on a tablesaw) Your thoughts?

To clarify, I’m offering video production and editing. If approved, productions would need presenter(s)

I’m not active in woodshop so I can’t commit anything … but that’s a very generous offer!

Absolutely would love your help- we are currently working on this and could use the support. I’ll reach out offline to coordinate further.

The streaming cart has the cameras and the software to capture multiple simultaneous video and audio streams if wanted.

What a wonderful offer! I think these videos would be so helpful for members of DMS! I have not been able to take a beginning level Woodshop class yet (my own fault! I haven’t been quick enough getting to Calendar lol  ) but I would avidly watch any videos before and I’m certain many times after I do take a class.

Thank you!

@D4Noir:: Thanks for stepping up and taking this on!

I’m currently creating a series of videos to help promote DMS and drive new members to the site.

If I can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to reach out.
