So I’ve been pondering how to make it easy to turn on and off the pinball machines for Vector. This issue is that the power switch is in a un-intuitive spot for none pinball nerds or in some cases the machines don’t have a power switch at all. So I’m thinking about designing a solution like the picture above, forgive lack of artistic ability. I’m thinking this could be a box that acts as an interrupt to the power between the pinball machine and the power strip. I gave it room for an info card so we could add any needed instructions or possibly info on the person that restored the machine. I’m thinking of mounting it to the leg bolts of the pinball machine, much like the pin gulp, pictured below.

@Raymond and @rablack97 does this seem like a good idea to you guys? Might reach out to you for a little help. Also do either of you have some extra 120v lit arcade switches/melamine board scrap? Rodney, I’m thinking of building this with a bit of an arcade cabinet look, but I don’t know the typical techniques for cabinet construction or the finer arts of T trim.
Also, considering back lighting the info card when powered on to make it more apparent it is powered on. I have some 5v wall worts I can disassemble and white leds to do this at my office. I also have plenty of acrylic sheet to make this work.
Good Idea?
