If you’re using some NeoPixels and need to get the light channeled somewhere, there are light pipes you can get at Tanner Electronics, bu the hard part is getting them mounted to the LEDs.
I took that as a challenge and designed and printed a light pipe mount and it’s my first upload to Thingiverse. 
It’s a tight press fit to get the pipe in the mount but you should be able to do it without having to drill the mount. I had to tap it in with a small plastic mallet but it was a nice tight fit without undue stress on the printed mount. It fits over the LED with a press fit and has notches to fit the 4 solder legs of the LED and the small chip cap next to it.
