Possible new clearcoat contact

My girlfriend works at Sewell, and has lots of work directly involved with the body shop. One of their painters is also an artist, and the subject of clearcoating playfields came up. I’ll be getting more specifics from him on materials, timeframes, costs etc. Is there anything specific people would want to know that I should be asking?

With clear coat my three concerns are:
Leveling Plastics
Limiting crazing
Yellowing over time

Also small bubbles/fisheyes can be an issue. When clearing playfields, Vid recommends a very light sanding with 800-1000 grit to give it something to stick to.

Said artist might want to practice on a spare playfield… try filling inserts, repainting keylines, matching wood grain, etc.

Holy Cow,
That forum post is in depth, what a guide. I’m now more scared of clearing yet, more willing to try my hand at it. CRAZY
