Sorry about this, wasn’t feeling bad yesterday at the Christmas party in CA.
I just tested positive for COVID today, so in an abundance of caution you might want to test to check up on yourselves.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for letting us know. I’ve scheduled a test for tomorrow, but in the meantime, anyone can get 4 free test kits from USPS if they don’t mind waiting.
Thanks for the heads up. It’s a way of life now. You don’t know until you know. I hope you get well soon.
Test results from Walgreens came back negative, but I’ll monitor to see if I get any symptoms. Will try again when the test kits from USPS come in.
I’d still recommend everyone else to get tested as Paul recommended, as you might’ve been in closer proximity to him, spoke to him longer, etc.
I just got mine in the mail. Much easier to just keep a test on hand than having to wrangle a test in town (esp. since town is 30+ miles away for me).
Mine expired back in October, so I didn’t feel comfortable relying on them in case of a false positive.
Many of the tests have been found to last longer than originally estimated, and the manufacturers have extended their expiration dates. The ones I was just shipped included documentation about that.
You can look up your specific test manufacturers and see if yours have similarly been extended.
I’m aware, but mine weren’t stored in optimal conditions, well past the temperature threshold due to the summer heatwave.
