Hey all your experts…… is there a secret to using polycrylic? I have an oak table that I worked really hard sanding down and re-staining. I wanted to put a urethane finish on it to protect the table……. I keep getting small bubbles and brush marks!!! I am super discouraged! Any advice or (probably a better solution for me since I seem to be incompetent with this urethane stuff) is there anyone that I can hire to urethane the table top?

I did some cornhole boards with polycrylic some years ago. I found that I needed to thin it out a bit with water/isopropyl alcohol because it’s so dang hot here, it would start to dry before it had a chance to “self level.”
I will try that! Thanks!
This was helpful !! Thank you!
I just did a project last week and I thought the stuff was drying awful fast! A couple of drips got frozen in time. I tried sanding them flush, but you can still sort of see them. Any suggestions?
