I’m very inexperienced with 3D printing, so I’m not sure if this is a problem with me or the printer. After about 1.5 hours of my print, it started getting very fuzzy and new layers did not seem to be getting deposited, so I cancelled the print and switched to PolyPrinter 92. I’ve attached a picture of my failed print with the filament after I removed it - the last ~1” of the filament seemed like a hollow straw, which struck me as strange.
Is there any way I can prevent this from happening in the future?
As I watch the second attempt print on 91, I’m realizing that the reel of filament was not turning nearly as much as it is now for the last several layers of the failed attempt on 92

If you get a tangle on your spool yeah it will stop printing. I’ve never seen the hollow straw effect though!
the printer is printing fine for me
