Hey folks,
The last piece to my CNC Plasma Cutter came in - the drop-in water table insert for keeping sparks down.
What kind of additive do I need to put in the water to keep nasty growths away?

A couple of Bromine tabs would do the trick. Just like any other water additive they would need to be occasionally refreshed.
Well, bless your heart.
Note: Respirator advised and a 100 gallon tank would only weigh 11,295 lbs + tank, so you may need sturdier tank supports.
Probably could get away with just a couple of inches since darn near everything floats on it, including steel.
Perhaps I should’ve asked Team_Machine_Shop instead…
Anyway, I asked around elsewhere too and was pointed to this: https://www.lubecorp.com/greencut-plasma-cnc-plasma-cutting/
I’ll grab some and see how it does.
You found what I found. I don’t know if we put anything in our tank. I think all the slag killed everything.
