The Contractor is going to install the exhaust for the plasma cutter Friday next week (August 19). There was a problem getting the fan, so the work was postponed until they have it in hand. The roof penetration is installed and capped (waterproofed). Will update. when I know more.
The shop is back in operation, though I need help moving the equipment back in place. If you are at the Space, please lend a hand.
The exhaust system is installed, and the electrician will be here tomorrow, Thursday 9/1 to wire it. We need to have a meeting with everyone who was working on the plasma cutter, to get it up and running.

The Plasma Cutter is working. We cut some pieces the other night. The City Inspector came this morning and signed off on the permit, so we are good to go.

We did spend a bit longer mucking about with it after you left last tuesday. The z Height adjust that was giving us fits seemed to sort itself out. I’ll try to come tomorrow as well.
I’d get in on being a trainer for this… sadly I’m out on a trip till the 20th, then in class until the 3rd (Oct). But loved using the plasma cutter at the last space, and this one seems to be relatively similar.
The training session went smoothly, and the new ventilation is excellent! Great job to those who persevered and got this ventilation working!
