I remember that shuttle car event!
Miss them so much! Great store. I learned to weave there at the shop in McKinney.
Discovered them while still down in Lancaster before the tornado ate the Square. (Then they moved to McKinney)
It was just at the beginning of my fiber interests and I’d gone with a friend to their shop on Lancaster town square. It was the weekend the spinning guild had their monthly get together on the square at the center green. The “Over the Wheel” gang 
They still meet years later.
Anyway, I’d never seen a spinning wheel in motion, and there they were, about 20 of them going all at once. It was so hypnotic. 
After that I learned to weave, later to spin (different shop). But that was the real start of my fiberarts love. Good memories.
