PIC programmer ( AND MORE CHARACTERS THAT ADD NO MEANING TO THE TITLE AT ALL. )

Do we have a PIC programmer among the gear in E-Lab ?

I’ve found an open source project I may want to build, and the project requires programming a PIC.

I do not know what the Electronics Lab has. I have a PICkit 3 and an ICD 3. They do not normally come with me to The Space.

I have a TopMax and TopMax II programmer at my shop. I can program most things PIC related.

Great. Sounds like there are options around. I still need to do some digging to make sure the project I found will work for what I want. And that I can still get the parts for it.

I’ll keep you two in mind.

They used to have a ChipMax from eeTools. That’s the smaller sibling to the TopMax and TopMax II that I have. I think they got rid of it a long time ago though. :frowning:

What parts are you missing?

DAC0831 seems to be a possible problem. Haven’t checked Tanners yet.

Still reading up on this, so might wind up going a different route eventually.
