I may need a high contrast film made. I intend to try a laser printed transparency but I’m concerned it will not be dark enough.
Any one know sources who still do these from files? Local or not.
They have laser transparency film, just B&W. For the source photo just convert to B&W and adjust the contrast get the image you want. Save file, send to printer. There will be no tonal variation: Black or White.
Just make 2 or 3 duplicate prints of the same image and layer them. Printmaking does this all the time for use in the screen printing exposure unit when making our screen stencils.
