When I took the tour the host mentioned that there is a stash of TROFAST bins and lids somewhere. I’ve probably walked right by them. I want to set one up, but sorta need a bin and lid. Is there a stash, or do I need to run to IKEA?
Last I saw them they were in the locked storage room. If you walk out of the large woodshop doors and keep walking until you hit a wall, you’ll see a room with a large window. There were probably 20 of them in there when I was up there yesterday.
Not sure if we have empty bins but first step is get an envelope, put $20 in it, put your actual real name on it, your userid, phone and email address on the off chance we need to contact you and tape it to an empty slot or if you are near an Ikea pickup your own bin, and tape the envelope to the bin and put it in an empty slot. Someone will pick it up and print a nametag for it.

Are we messaged or notified when our year is up on bin rental?
I’ve just realized my membership anniversary has passed, and I may already owe this year’s fee.
It’s a once and done, no yearly fee needed as long as you stay a member.

There was once a proposal for rental bins. Those were the big black and yellow bins. Folks who might have to move those bins thought that they were too large, and the project stalled.
