Personal Computer Use on the Full Spectrum Laser

Is it possible to print directly from our personal laptops to the Full Spectrum Laser? My issue is that my inkscape design was created on a Mac and the fonts used do not load on the PC tower hooked up to the machine.

Another person was interested in this question in order that he could print directly from the CAD software that he uses for design.

You can render all the text as paths in inkscape, (I think using object to path). which removes dependence on fonts. That’s what you world have to do to use the lasersaur anyway since it interprets the svg file itself.

I think that is “text to path”, and found in the text menu.

But remember that nearly all fonts are outlined areas and not single lines - so if your text is small you could have challenges regardless of what it was created on.
