Hi all,
There are still a few slots open for the pen making class on September 23rd.
If you’ve taken the class before and want to take it again, contact me and we can see about figuring out if there is a different style kit we can work on!

Just a quick reminder bump - there are still two spots open for the pen making class this Saturday at 12:30; feel free to DM privately if you have any questions!
I signed up for the lathe 101 class but can’t sign up for the pen making class because I haven’t completed the intro class. Can I do the classes back 2 back on Saturday?
I don’t usually have people do back-to-back between 101 and project classes because the 101 class focuses primarily on the safe use of the machine and the basic technique of using the tools. After that, you’ll want to put some time into making sawdust and getting used to the feel of the tools before tackling a project. In the past I’ve tried back-to-back, and it rarely worked out… most people would leave unhappy with the take-home product.
I’ve been trying to run a pen-making class every two weeks or so; that might be adjusting soon because the classes don’t seem as popular as they used to be. So, I’m going to try and introduce some other small project classes that go in rotation with pens. So there will be (some) more pen classes and some other small project classes fairly regularly.
