Orientation/New Member Video

In the near future, I’d like to help tackle the orientation video outlined in the link below.

I have some gear I’d be willing to use on the production that might make things a bit easier.

Is anyone in particular heading up that project? It looks like some pre-production was done.

Anyone have anymore input on what should be included? As a new member, I find I’m still searching for answers.

I’m sure more questions will arise as the project gets started/continues.

Also, I’m meeting up with Jay around 630-7ish on Thursday to showcase some gear. A Ronin-M camera Stablizer and Sony A7Sii. Come on by if you’d like!

  2. Read new member 411 and see what’s available on wiki.
  3. Highlight “create linked discussion” feature (avoid hijacking discussions).
  4. Highlight ticketing system and when to use it.
  5. Help keep the place tidy.
  6. How to use storage bins and racks.

I would recommend against showing which individual items are available since this will change over time; however, we could highlight some of the big cool tools we have that plan on keeping for a long time: laser cutters, some 3D printers, CNC router, PlasmaCAM (not ready), HAAS, etc.
