Opening the roll up doors during a power outage

Suppose we have a situation where the space loses power due to a thunderstorm. Is there a way to open the auto bay doors without electricity?

I only thought to ask that right now since the power is out and our means of getting home is parked inside.

I think there is a loop of chain to the left of the door. My understanding is pulling ion one direction opens, and the other closes.

There is a chain you have to hold down to engage the loop chain so you can raise or lower the door. As an added bonus you get a shower of ceiling tile dust as the chain will eat into the tile.
