Old computers for parts

Is this OK by DMS?

I have several older computers with mostly good usable parts in them. Some usable cases, rack mount server case, etc. I will bring them to DMS and leave them at free items area around 6:00 PM Thursday afternoon (10/11).

That is the kind of stuff that regularly gets put on the junk /member exchange shelves.

I believe CRT (non-flatscreen) monitors are not allowed, but other components like cases, power supplies, hard/floppy/cd/dvd drives, motherboards, et al are OK for the donate shelf.

You might consider offering more esoteric parts and RAM sticks to the vintage computer community (@Team_VCC) folks first.

I’d be interested in this guy for sure. I’ve got a couple of white box machines I’d love to rack mount.

I am bringing them in around 6:00 today if anyone wants to get parts out of them.
