So, I tore the meniscus in my knee a few weeks ago. Being indestructible, I assumed my recovery would be swift and I could work on the project quickly toward the end, but my recovery has not been as swift as I require (I would like to know where to file my complaint about that).
So, there is a fully paid-for 3’ x 4’ block for use with the steamroller project available to the first person to claim it. A $70 value, yours now for only 3 easy payments of $0.
Respond here to claim if you like. You still have time, the steamroller isn’t coming until Nov 4 and we still have several work days scheduled. Carve by hand, or the laser or the mill.
Oh, you’re welcome to it. The board should be sitting in the print making room (CA annex) and you can look on events to see the next work day to get your questions answered.
Oh, this has sounded like fun since the first time I read about steamroller printing, hosted by Clampitt Paper a couple of years ago. But I was too late to get in on the fun this year. Keeping my fingers crossed it will continue in the future. (and hope they get their collective promotional rears into gear. Trying to find info about the fall 2018 edition is HARD. Lotsa references to spring 2018. Sigh.
I hope your knee recovers soon. Knee “ow-ies” are no fun…
Regarding your question of where to file a complaint, here’s some good news. As you age, you’ll get more and more opportunities such as the miniscus problem you’ve experienced, increasing the chance that you’ll figure out where to register such complaints. If you do find out, pleae let me know.
