Offer to donate Ceramic Molds

I believe I put this in the wrong place. Please excuse the ignorance.
It’s probably further unnecessary to copy and paste what I posted, but I will below the link.
Pasting the discussion from Donate ~95 Ceramic Molds?:

I have over 90 ceramic molds that I’d like to donate to the space if 1)
they are wanted 2) there is room to store them there and 3) someone with
a truck or large vehicle can help me transport them to DMS. I cannot
load them up and move them into the space alone and would need help
(neuromuscular disease + Honda Civic). They will all be at my home by
the end of this weekend, w/in 2 miles of where I-35W and I-20 intersect,
about 40 minutes from DMS. One pickup load would do it.
There are holiday molds, as well as random decorative molds. I thought of the space rather than trying to sell them off.

Tagging Nathan as he would make the final decision. Thanks for the offer.

This sounds fabulous and very generous… storage will be the challenge. Hope it’s doable.

Storage is always the issue when the topic of molds comes up. We have a few basic molds, but we really are focusing more on wheel throwing and hand building.

We would okay with one or two more basic shapes, but taking the whole collection just isn’t possible. :frowning:

Ceramic molds are like Pokemon, the urge is to collect them all. We are trying to resist that, since, as you know, they can quickly take up quite a bit of room.

Okay. That’s what I was concerned about, as they do take up a lot of room.
Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve had trouble connecting to the forum and haven’t been able to respond.

If any members want them/some as individuals, that’s fine!

I’m interested in them. I have a truck and I can pick them up. You can email me [email protected] if you wan to make arrangements.

I’ve sent you an email.

I have quite a few right now in the back of my car if anyone wants them. I am usually up at makerspace during the day.
