What’s the status of the UV loop on the HAAS? Does it still need replacement/repair?

Replaced that last week.

the rattling bearing on the Bridgeport spindle, how hard is that to replace?

Its something we would have to look closer at to see exactly where the noise is coming from. The spindle bearings aren’t too bad or expensive. It maybe the CV pulley/belt making the noise too

For those who maybe wondering, The maintenance day is OCTOBER 23rd, not September… The months have gotten away from me.

Weren’t we missing some kind of handle or lever on the Bridgeport?

Yes, we ordered the replacement parts & they were received yesterday.

Took some time to wrangle all the materials together.
On the cart we have 12 gallons of Mobil DTE 24 ultra (about a half gallon of regular 24 DTE), o-rings for the colchester, Shark compound bolt, capacitor for the dust collector & gloves.

The tasks that were completed
Bridgeport quill power feed speed selector, Bridgeport Quill return spring.

Shark Lathe; oil change, compound cleaned up/smoothed up action

Colchester, well a little less successful on it. We need to put the compound back together, replace the o-ring for the shifter, finish changing the oil

Sherline mill has light mounted over them now.

The wall/safety partition completed for Machine Shop

Some straitening up of the teachers cabinet

Plastics needs a replacement run cap, not start cap as initially thought.

Plastics equipment is now linked to the Wiki.

Not that thats “IT” that was done, but there was a lot of progress today. Again thank you all.
