Lots of upcoming Woodshop Classes - with more to come. As always the best place to look is on the calendar [and then sort “By Category”], but here is a quick rundown of what’s posted.
I’m a new member of the space and I’m really excited to join the Safety and Orientation class today. I understand that the class is full, but I was wondering if there was any chance that I could still attend.
I come from a family of carpenters and I’ve been working as a trim carpenter for the past 12 years. I’m eager to learn everything I can about the space and how to stay safe while working here. I’m also excited to meet the other members of the space and learn from their experiences.
If it’s not possible for me to attend the class today, I understand. However, I’d be grateful for the opportunity to attend a future class or to meet with one of the instructors individually to learn more about the space and safety procedures.
I usually get a no show or two, so feel free to come by tonight. Since you’re not registered for the class (as it closed yesterday), you might need to wait some extra time to get permissions since I’ll need to talk to the admins.
Thank you very much for getting back to me. I will be around and if there is a spot I’d be happy to fill it. No worries about delayed approval I completely understand.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to take the class, you are a great teacher. It was very informative and I look forward to learning from and working with you—also a shoutout to Bert for all his help with my questions this week. Let me know if I can help out with the woodshop in any way.
