OCT 14 Maintenance Day shows as a week long on the calendar

FYI, it looks like the Oct 14 Maintenance Day for the woodshop was setup for a week? Is that an error?

Looks correct in a web browser. What app are you using?

I’m using Google Calendar on my phone subscribed to the DMS Calendar at https://calendar.dallasmakerspace.org/events/feed

Is Google calendar a new thing? @Webdevel you know a week isn’t long enough to finish that shop.

I see the same thing on my google calendar as well.

Yep, looks like the data in the feed for that event is suspect:

BEGIN:VEVENT

DTEND:20181021T210000Z

SUMMARY:Woodshop Maintenance Day
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to maintain and calibrate the machines in the woodshop Event details at https://calendar.dallasmakerspace.org/events/view/7986
LOCATION:Woodworking Workshop
URL;VALUE=URI:https://calendar.dallasmakerspace.org/events/view/7986
END:VEVENT

The event was incorrectly set. It is been fixed now.

I’d like to know more, because it seems really weird that it showed properly in a browser, and the incorrect set only appeared on the calendar feed…

But whether I receive any elaboration or not," thank you!" to the folks who got it done! :+1:.

The event page doesn’t show if the event covers many days. It should but doesn’t currently. The feed does have the dates. I will have to put that on the list to fix.
