However it shows to 2005. As it sits now is the O2 & catalyst monitors are not complete. I did happen to follow to the T in the link for the O2. Seems like this happens every time I need a damn inspection. Usually it is the O2 & the evaporative.
Slightly related question, do you know what reset the status in the first place? Did you clear them after fixing things? Or is another gremlin causing status to be lost?
The JK’s are known for being a PITA to get the cycles done. Back when it was still under warranty I lost a battery & it took 3 months to get it ready.
My battery went dead this time because I don’t really drive it. It sits on my trailer most of the time, in the past 5 years I’ve probably put 600 miles on it. Most of those are off road miles too. I’m seriously thinking of doing the low mileage waiver.
Not this one but the second one it the one I posted.
I could cheap out & get a 30 day tag but I have grown rather fond of my current plates. Those plates have been lost off my Jeep several times only to find their way back to me.
The entire time that the front license plate law was dropped from the statute, mine was missing. Only to be found by a friend of mine while on a trail. That same friend has found my front plate a couple times. Lol.
I have ripped the rear off a couple times as well including making it a bow tie shape.
So I picked up a 30 day tag on the 25th. Drove it around town for some time, on Labor Day the readiness monitors were all good. Got it inspected Wednesday night, then yesterday got it registered again. It has been like 3-4 years since it has been registered. Best part is I got to keep my plates that I’ve grown fond of.
