This time around we are going to have an area for phones to rest as we get to bond face to face. Not a requirement but a request.

Is this instead of an orphan’s Thanksgiving? or in addition to it?

@Cairenn_Day Karen told me she is going to be working on the days we discussed the orphan thanksgiving so this date is the new “orphan thanksgiving”. Holiday gatherings are hard and calendars get booked quick - hopefully we will have a good turnout for this. Not by the size of it but just curious people sharing ideas and creating bonds.
This is just to push this up and so that everyone is aware of the time and date. Come be friendly.
I’m going to put some posters up around DMS in hopes to catch some people who aren’t on talk tonight. I will be coming up from Galveston so I might actually be late to this. Oh this life is so wacky.

A class on how to make exploding Mac and cheese would probably be well attended. 
I begged off of my prior commitment for that day, so I’ll be bringing chips, pie and beer since that went over well last time.

I will be coming up from Galveston to DMS on Saturday. I’m worried about being late - traffic. Anyways. Would someone volunteer to setup the room IF I’m late? It would require little. Just showing up say 6:20 and arranging tables, putting down tablecloths and plates. I bought some items and put them in the creative arts room right by the door. In this box. Anyone willing to step up if I’m running late?

I would love to participate, but I will be out of town this weekend. Ya’ll have fun. DMS is truly the best group of friends and makers around. DMS is so much more than just a place to MAKE things and to learn new skills. It is the great and diverse group of people that make our organization awesome.
