North Lobby Bathroom Status - 7/11/24

Hi all, this thread is for keeping track of the status update on the North Lobby bathrooms + the other bathroom upgrades.

The former men’s bathroom is now usable as a unisex bathroom with an upgraded lock. There are some known issues, however:

  • The door lock will not properly engage unless you press against the door. This is an issue with the door itself.
  • The bathroom is very dirty and looks incomplete. At some point in the near future, it needs to be deep cleaned and painted.

The other bathroom up front (the former women’s restroom) is down due to one of the locks breaking. A replacement has been ordered and will arrive on Tuesday.

Screenprinting and the common room (with a new upgraded lock) are also unisex now, but the sign for common has not arrived yet, so a temporary sign has been hung in its place.

Update:

Repair on the bathrooms has been completed and they are now usable. The former women’s restroom needs to be cleaned out, but the locks have been installed and signs are now in place for all affected areas. Special thanks to @Vincent for helping me with the last bathroom.

They still need to be painted and have finishing details, but are usable. The one on the left has a urinal, the one on the right does not.
