“They” are talking about getting together a bus route to gather up people to take them to Santa Fe.
I really enjoy the head space of that drive into nothing (worked for a summer in Palo Duro Canyon) so I would probably vote to drive. I know its quite a bit in the future but it’s worth a good planing.

Would join a car pool. Say get 6 people and rent a mini 12 passenger van for a week so there’s plenty of room us and stuff. Be about $150/person but no pressure on schedule.

Split a place looks like it’s in the $200 range. I’m sure hotels might be a more economic and private option (plus they change the towels) but this is an option

Unless we could get our hands on the Cruel Bus for the week, I would probably drive as I would head to Colorado afterwards.

Experiencing the magnitude of the project in person is something you will never forget. Also, I’ve known Jim my entire life and he is definitely one of my most interesting friends.

We have a house a couple miles down the road with 4 beds and there are plenty of lodges and camping in the area as well.

Well tickets are a hot mess of $250 for the convention ---- but they are also allowing a “pay what you want” ticket, but I don’t see the option.
