No Table Saws that can cut at 45

The powermatic doesn’t go all the way to 45 (it goes to 38, which is close).
The other one (not sure the name, just that it says Sawstop) the angle adjuster isn’t attached.

So neither saw is capable of cutting miters at the moment. It looked like the angle adjust on the Sawstop one had sheared off somehow,. although I’m not sure if that’s the case.

The angle adjustment on the SawStop was fixed yesterday around noon.

The angle indicators on the front of the saws, pretty much any equipment for that matter, are just approximations of the angle. Please use a square or inclinometer to set your angle.

Even if it’s off it literally takes a single wrench to fix technically any cabinet saw can go all the way to 50-55 degrees if that limiting screw was just taken out but anything past 45 is gonna damage something cause something’s going to in the way of the motor or belt or something so every saw can cut 45 if you know how to adjust! Manuals are on the wall but pretty pretty please if you’re not familiar with the tools don’t just pop open the manual and start adjusting! Even though they tell you how it doesn’t tell you what else it could also effect that you have to adjust as well or if you need to compensate for certain factors so please adjust only If familiar
