"Nic's American Pinball Tour"

Hey Makers! I’ve had so much fun building up VECTOR and bringing new people into the hobby that it is time to take this show on the road.

Starting in April (after the Texas Pinball Festival), yours truly is about to embark upon a cross-country pinball adventure… meeting people, fixing games, teaching lessons, and linking up with other Makerspaces and pinball/arcade clubs.

I’ve created a FB page to follow the story as it unfolds…
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1760898027570568/

I’ll be taking pics and videos and connecting with people all over the country (Canada too!). I’ll have plenty of opportunities to talk about everything the Dallas Makerspace does along the way. It will be a terrific opportunity to make new connections and promote the positive aspects of our sharing economy and our wonderful Makerspace.

Stay tuned… I think this is going to be something special!

Well folks, as you may have heard, the Texas Pinball Festival is fast approaching (March 24-25) and immediately afterward I’ll start a cross-country pinball adventure to meet the interesting people who participate in this amusing hobby and (literally) keep it rolling.

Famed artist (and fellow pinballer) Ryan Claytor has just opened a pre-order for tour tees! This is a limited run and won’t be available once the tour begins on March 27th.

I expect most people who are part of the tour will want one. But if you like the idea and want a piece of vital pinball history in the making, that’s great too.

Look who I ran into at the Northwest Pinball & Arcade Show… its Paxton!

He’s enjoying life in the Pacific Northwest… and I can see why. Really nice up here!

Poor Paxton didn’t have a chance against my Laser War high score unfortunately.

Thanks Jastomon… you are correct on both counts. The original Facebook group is now https://www.facebook.com/pinballtour

However, the best place to read the story is on the pinside link… https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/nics-american-pinball-tour-aka-im-coming-to-fix-your-games

(it allows for inline images)

And, yes, sadly, the t-shirt run ended on March 27th…
