Nicole, art teachers(in this case) etc and simple donations

Some in the Space know what I do for work…Nicole and a few others have been in my place of work for a visit - Col Dan was the last visitor for a large piece of thicker than usual glass that would work for his upcoming stained glass class.

I received a nice note from a local art teacher that picked up misc mat boards, off cuts of foam boards etc instead of the dumpster (yes we try to repurpose as much as we can - retired frames used to go to the “freebie” shelf - but now will go directly to Freddy).

Here is the teacher’s Note:
Howdy Premiere Gallery~

You were so incredibly generous with the mat board supplies. I wanted to share with you what we have been doing. Attached is a photo; companies in the community which allows us to display artwork in their building the students create their logo in a creative way as a gift to their company. We have done it for Grubbs Infiniti and Point Bank. I wanted to reach out and see if you had any more of these wonderful sectioned matt boards you can not use? Just thought I would ask as you never know. I do not want to sound greedy as you have already been so generous. I just wanted to see just in case there might be others available.
Thank you.

It is great that you could help them, There are a quite a few
teachers that come to Zero Landfill day looking for supplies,

I don’t know what you do lol…but yes. Trim bits, float, and mat centers are the best!

Mrs.Moose,
Would you like some?
PM me your email and I’ll add you to the local art teachers I have and when I have a full box of misc off cuts or mats etc - I’ll send you an email.
