This is Seaweed x2 over Storm x2, and it’s flat, so it doesn’t take gravity to get the effect.

Beth, that’s beautiful! You’ll have to teach a class. The glazes are fantastic. Did you use a mold, stamp, or is that a stencil for the ammonites? I’d love to see them.
That’s not my work. I think I remember that she used actual ammonites for the texture. We’ve got the glazes she used. I mean, I never would have thought you’d get that much out of layering on a flat piece. Somewhere in my copious free time, I’ll try to play around and see if I can reproduce it.
