When will the next Metal Shop and Welding Classes be scheduled? Thanks!! :slight_smile:

Welding classes happen about once a month; sometimes more if Lee has the time, sometimes less if he is not able. The last one was July 22, so I would imagine the next round will be around August 22, on a Saturday.

I’m not sure what you mean by “Metal Shop Classes”. There are PlasmaCAM classes for the next 2 weeks or so, and usually come up every other to every 3rd week. Most of the rest of the Metal Shop equipment does not require training, but you should request help 1:1 if needed. In person usually works best, as many Metal Shop regulars do not hang out electronically.

I wasn’t sure if there was a general Metal Shop Safety class, so I decided to toss the lingo out there.

I just got certified on the PlasmaCAM, so I’m looking for next steps!

There is not. But there is much talk and many of us wish there were, so maybe one day soon it’ll come together…
