Next basic woodworking class

Hi,

Any idea when I can sign up for an upcoming woodworking class so I can get signed off to use the tools? I see one listed this Wed. but there’s no eventbright ticket link. I’ve heard these classes are held often but I don’t see much on the calendar.

Cheers

I believe the new wood shop chair (Tom) is working on getting them put in the calendar with the intent of having them on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The kinks are still being ironed out, so stay tuned.

You missed one just a couple days ago. There was even a no-show of one person, so you could have walked right up and taken the class. Tom did a bang up job of bringing me up to speed on a ton of stuff.

Bummer. I tried doing that last week but was turned away because it was too full.

It’s a hands on class, going through the jointer, planer, table saw, etc… As you could imagine, the class gets very long with a lot of people.

If you’re talking about last Wednesday, the group was unusually large due to folks observing to help with training going forward.

I have posted the eventbrite link. It was originally posted by a Brandon Biggers…neither Tom nor I know who that is. Tom said he will teach the class regardless. Hope people can make it. If you have taken the class before and are looking to become a trainer please show up but no need to grab a ticket. We are always looking for more trainers.

Thanks Alex!
Is there going to be another one on Saturday as well?

I have posted the class for Saturday to the Calendar and the free tickets can be obtained here:
