Brand new Xvin hd surveillance cameras. Pickup in Carrollton. $85 delivered.
Hard to tell what’s actually being offered here…
Added another picture.
Four cameras, NVR (network video recorder) with 1TB hard drive. 720P coax-wired cameras. Mobile app compatible.
Those are not network cameras. Network cameras don’t have BNC connectors.
Nobody said the cameras were networked…the video recorder is in fact networked…
And I didn’t comment on the NVR.
As in all things see what those who have it say about it…
That’s a purchase link for one without a hardrive which people likely didn’t read before purchasing. Here’s the actual purchase link for this system. Amazon.com: Customer reviews: XVIM 3MP Wireless Light Bulb Security Camera, 2.4GHz WiFi Pan/Tilt Bulb Camera, 360° PTZ Indoor/Outdoor Camera, Night Vision & 2 Way Audio
Correct. FWIW, I also never said they were Network cameras.
The coax/power wire goes from the camera back to a dedicated box, which is networked, and offers a 1 TB hard drive for storage, and supports a dedicated monitor/mouse setup for viewing as well as network access.
They have an App which can reach the box and allow mobile access to the images, event trigger notifications to your cell, etc.
I was interested in this item, but was looking for a 1080P resolution setup.
Looking at the reviews on Amazon, it appears the quality is OK, but the setup documentation sucks. If I were to purchase a kit like this, I’d likely also invest in some 100’ video/power extension cords. There Is a wi-fi enabled version, but you’d still need to get power to the cameras, so that’s a limited solution.
