Hello, I am new to laser cutting and the dallas maker space and would love some tutorials or to be pointed in the right direction on the process before I proceed to actual use of the lasers. I plan on making some layered cardboard sculptures from some 3d models I have, likely using slicer for fusion360 (though I couldn’t seem to get it working on my computer at the moment). I would attend the class happening this week but unfortunately I will be out of town Friday and Saturday. I am free weekdays after 3pm and usually fully open on weekends. All help is appreciated, thank you!
First get certified to use the lasers with learn.dallasmakerspace.org if you haven’t already done this. Then feel free to send me a PM to schedule one on one training. 
I haven’t used slicer for Fusion360, usually I just design each layer separately.
