3D Fab is excited to announce its brand new system for classes in 3D Fab. Everyone will now start with a rules class called 3D Fab 100. From there members can take any of the intro classes specific to their interests. Want to go right to resin instead of having to take FDM first? Now you can. Want to go straight to Bambu instead of bothering with Polyprinter? Now you can.
All members must take the new 3D Fab 100 class, including those who have previously taken the Intro to 3D Fab: Polyprinter class. Members will be given a 1 month grace period to take the new training. All members who want to continue to use 3D Fab must take the new training by 12/5/25. If they do not, they will not be able to access the computers/use the printers until they take the class.
I came in to print something today, and noticed this course was required. Would this have kept the auth code from appearing on the screen? I went through the process of logging into Bambu studio as usual, but the code never appeared on the monitor.
@Team_3D_Fab@Co0ki3fruit There is a separate AD security group set up for this new module, correct? It’s now “3D Fab 100 - Start Here” vs the old one which was “3D Printer Basics?” Just pointing that out because it looks like the Bambu intro event on 11/19 is still set up to require the old clearance, which can no longer be obtained because the old module is now hidden on Moodle.
