I’d like to:
clean up the motor connections
fabricate a guard for the chain
add a single axis DRO as a depth indicator.
In a perfect world I’d like to replace the depth control with a “set and forget” control that lets you punch in the depth setting and adjusts to it, but that’s a “later” (if ever) project.
Any opinions, comments, suggestions?

Rich I agree. DRO on the back gauge and stroke length indicator. It will allow us to get a good idea on the bends.
The foot petal will need to be re-worked as well. The design of that one has too much slop on the left side.
I assume this is due to too much twist in the bar, or is it a rigidity issue in the pivot point?
TBJK:
stroke length indicator
I guess I need to look at the mechanism that sets stroke length. Maybe a 2 axis DRO is in the cards.
