On the In-Progress, Bisqued, and Glazed shelves, the Ceramics Department provides 21 days for members to dry, move, and/or pick up their creations.
This post pertains to the IN PROGRESS shelves.
The Ceramics Committee voted on this new policy during our April meeting. Items without a name and date will be immediately discarded without the usual 21-day allowance period. This policy is effective beginning on April 13, 2025.
Your pieces should be placed on ware boards and include your first name and the date you placed them on shelves. This is covered in the required Ceramics 100 class that allows you to use the space. Reminders are also generally given by the instructors when you take a ceramics class.
We really hate discarding your work, so please remember to label your items so we don’t have to.
