Hello Fellow Members,

I just became a member of DMS. And I was wondering about a few things…

1. How do I arrange for a tour (preferred date is 03/02, if not then 03/09)
2. Do I need any sort of entry card to enter the building? If I do, where can I get it?
3. Do I need to complete any other formalities?

There are regular tours every Saturday Morning, 10 AM - Noon

New member orientation classes are usually held early Saturday afternoon. I don’t see one on the calendar for tomorrow (yet)

There are Key Fobs/Cards used to get into the space. You can collect and register one during the tour. Be sure to have your username and password along to do this.

Do I need to complete any other formalities?

Many things require training before use. You’ll need to look at the online information here on Talk, the wiki (being replaced, but still a useful information source) Dallas Makerspace or the Source (Wiki replacement slowly being filled in) https://source.dallasmakerspace.org/

You should request a Green dot to get access to members-only sections of Talk. Dallas Makerspace members (primary or family/add-on) in good standing may request access to Members Only categories (e.g. #issues-requests ) by requesting a Green Dot
