Hello DMS Ceramics!
I just joined DMS and I am interested in working in the ceramics area. I saw that attending Ceramics 100 is a prerequisite but unfortunately I’ll be out of town the only day that its scheduled (10/19). Will it be offered again soon or is there another way for me to get cleared to use the space?
I understood that we’ve got that on Dallas Makerspace: Log in to the site .
Give it a try there. And, the in-person class will come up regularly. @j801496 is a regular teacher of that class.
Most of us that teach don’t put up classes with a long lead time. Nobody organizes the classes so that there’s even so much as a month’s worth of classes at a time. Sue Rogers has some stuff scheduled out into December, but then she complains that people who’ve signed up don’t show up. For me – a week is about all the lead time you’ll get on my classes.
And, you might find the “Green dot” category, and request your green dot that denotes membership. Talk is not linked to any Active Directory thing, so human beings have to know that you’re a member so that you get membership status on Talk. You’re only missing a couple of categories that are locked to members.
